Nash Has Reiterated His Loyalty To Phoenix
It’s been made known the Suns are keeping Nash and the relationship between the team and their star point guard is as good as it gets.
Nash wants a ring, but is also true to his ties in Phoenix – he loves the place.
So why do Nash trade rumors continually get brought up? It’s because everyone wants to see what’s best for Nash – him getting a ring, like his friend Dirk just did.
Yet, what’s best for Steve Nash in his mind, is staying with his current team like Dirk did. Also, keep in mind, what’s best for the Suns is to keep Nash. That’s no secret.
Suns president Rick Welts said trading his best player and marketable asset is “ridiculous”.
Phoenix can be a “tough market” and it would be in the Suns best interest to not only keep Nash, but to provide him with a strong supporting cast this off-season.
The only thing more ridiculous than trading Nash, would be to keep him and not improve the team. This is why the team has been linked to trying to move up to Minnesota’s spot at two for Arizona’s forward Derrick Williams. An understandable target for the Suns, as they are still looking to replace Amare. Yet, even if a deal is not reached, there’s still hope in Phoenix.
If the Mavs can win an NBA title, then…you know the rest Suns fans. At the very least, enjoy Nash while you can – his style always makes the team fun to watch, with their always entertaining and up-tempo brand of basketball. Even if Nash is the only reason you watch the Suns, then watch them – he’s that ridiculously good.

Draft Gurus,
This message is for everyone who is interested in participating in Slam Dunk Central’s 2011 NBA Mock Draft.
It’s very simple and easy. For those who want in, pick a team. You are the GM. We will be covering all teams and both rounds (the second round is still important).
If you are down for picking up a team and making that certain team’s draft picks as the GM, then respond back as soon as you can. The draft is next Thursday, June 23.
Also, trades between GM’s are encouraged!
Thank You,
Russ Loede
